Mayur is a 30-year software industry veteran and current President & CEO of Caarma Corporation, headquartered in the Silicon Valley. He has successfully led the company to become a respected SAP Gold Partner and Value Added Reseller of SAP Software Solutions and Services. Caarma's customers include leaders in the Software, Telecommunication, Wireless, WI-Fi, Broadband, and Internet Industries as well as Semiconductor, OEM and other High Tech manufacturing environments such as Healthcare/Pharmaceutical manufacturing.
Prior to co-founding Caarma Corporation in 2006, Mayur was President of SAP's e-business subsidiary SAPMarkets for 2 years and served 6+ years as SAP AG's Senior VP of the initial High Tech Industry Business Unit. While he was instrumental in helping SAP transition to an e-business company from a traditional ERP company, he grew SAP Markets into a successful private and public exchange software company. During his 15 year tenure at SAP, he contributed to many technology advances, most notably Revenue Recognition and Netweaver (PI) technology in addition to Supply Chain Planning and Manufacturing, and to the successful growth of this billion dollar business unit.
Mayur's experience also includes 2+ years as Director of Marketing & Product Planning at Promise Systems, a leading Manufacturing software company where he helped complete a successful IPO. Earlier, he was Director of Industry Marketing at Consilium, also a Manufacturing software company, for 6+ years where he helped facilitate a successful IPO. He started his career at Intel with over a 7 year period in engineering, manufacturing and strategic systems.
Prashant is an accomplished serial entrepreneur, angel investor and business leader in the High Tech industry. He is currently Chairman and CEO of diversified and successful PDP Enterprises group and is responsible for charting group’s strategy and investment in promising start-ups and young technology companies in Internet, Wireless, as well as Healthcare domain.
Prashant is a seasoned leader with over 20 years of management experience working for HP, SGI and DEC. He has co-founded and invested in several start-ups and led them to successful exits creating significant gains for employees, management and investors.
Prashant has a B.S. in Computer Science from Loyola College in Maryland, B.S. in Chemistry and Physics from Bombay University, and a Masters in Computer Science from University of Kansas. He also has an MBA from University of Phoenix. Mr. Parekh is a Charter member with TIE and vigorously supports philanthropic causes in healthcare and education in US and India.
